I was on my favorite site – Pinterest, and I saw snow globes! Surprisingly I don’t usually decorate for Christmas. I just never have enough time, energy, nor money. But when I saw those snow globes, I just had to try making them. In the end, these snow globes were really easy to make and only cost me $5!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Pint size mason jar
- Minitature tree
- Glue gun
- Fake snow
Remove the top from the mason jar and glue the tree to the top.
Add some fake snow. You don’t want to add too much. Just a little is enough.
Carefully screw the top back on to the mason jar.
Now you can stop here. However, if you want to make it a little more decorative, it’s time to get out the glue gun again.
Measure your ribbon, cut, and glue in place.
Add a decorative sticker and trim the ribbon. Voila! You have your very own snow globe. You can add distilled water to make it like a “real” snow globe. But I like it like this.
